God Was Hiding Me — and Here Is Why That Saved Everything
The girl from your small group was already winning. I was still waiting for my idea to take off. Then I realized the problem wasn't my faith. It was my clarity.
Bills coming in like flies to honey. And my ideas? Coming just as fast.
I'd take a God idea and run with it. Put energy into it. Believe in it. And then — to my complete surprise — cricket vibes entered the chat.
And then she showed up.
You know her. The girl from your small group who got saved what feels like five minutes ago. Somehow she already has an idea and she's doing something with it. She has a logo. A website. People are following her. She's making money like it's no big deal.
Meanwhile, I serve God — and I'm trying to figure out where I went wrong.
The silence was disrespectful. The bank account? Even worse.
When I stepped out, my website gave the most disrespectful silence ever. My bank account laughed at another failed attempt while I cried and wondered what I was missing.
I sat with that question for a long time. What made her different from me?
Then I realized — it was my lack of clarity. If my idea had taken off, it would've destroyed me. Because I wasn’t really ready, I had an idea with no foundation, houses built on sand don’t last.
A good name is better than silver and gold. And my name wouldn't have been good. I knew what I was called to do. I just didn't know how to make it clear enough for people to actually understand.
I had ten products with no real purpose. No thread connecting them. No clear message. And here's the truth nobody says out loud:
Write this down: Confused people don't convert. Without clarity, there's clutter. Without clarity, there's confusion. And confusion costs you the very people God meant for you to serve.
God was hiding me — on purpose.
That's the part that shifted everything for me. God wasn't withholding. He was protecting.
You get one time for a good first impression. One. And He wants it to be grand.
He gave me time to get my brand together before the doors flew open. And that started with getting clear on three things:
One clear message. One audience. One core offer — in words my people actually recognize.
Not ten products scattered across an Instagram page with a vague bio and a Linktree that leads nowhere. One thing. Done with excellence. Done with intention. Done as unto the Lord.
"He wasn't withholding the harvest. He was waiting for me to prepare the field."
This is why I do what I do.
I walked in your shoes. And recently changed into another pair. And I want to help you do the same.
That's why I now help aspiring, faith-filled entrepreneurs build a brand that glorifies God — not by leaving Him out of the creative process, but by inviting Him in. Since He built the whole world in six days, He's more than qualified to help you build your brand.
Your idea isn't too small. Your calling isn't too ordinary. And no, you don't have to figure this out alone.
Little by little becomes a lot. But nothing stays nothing unless a seed is planted.
Plant your seed. Let's build something that lasts.
